2. Marketplace Role
Golden Section Market does not perform home services and is not the employer, contractor, agent, partner, or representative of professionals using the platform. Professionals operate independently and are responsible for their own work, qualifications, licensing, insurance, pricing, taxes, safety, and legal compliance.
3. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for evaluating and selecting professionals and should independently verify any licences, insurance, qualifications, references, permits, or other requirements relevant to a job.
4. Professional Responsibility
Professionals are responsible for providing accurate profile information and for ensuring that they are legally permitted and appropriately qualified to perform services they offer.
5. Golden Section Skill Badges
Golden Section knowledge or skill badges indicate completion of platform knowledge tests only. They are not government licences, trade certifications, Red Seal endorsements, or guarantees of workmanship.
6. Payments and Professional Subscription
Customers may use the marketplace without a platform subscription. Professional accounts may be subject to a free trial followed by the subscription price displayed by Golden Section Market. Subscription terms and pricing may be updated with appropriate notice.
7. Jobs and Agreements
Any agreement concerning scope, price, materials, scheduling, warranties, payment, or performance of a job is between the customer and the professional.
8. Reviews and Platform Content
Users must provide truthful information and must not post unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or infringing content.
9. No Guarantee
Golden Section Market does not guarantee the availability, identity, qualifications, reliability, quality, safety, legality, pricing, or performance of any user or service.
10. Accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and for providing accurate account information. Golden Section Market may restrict or suspend accounts that misuse the platform or violate these Terms.
11. Changes
